E.J. was tapping his watch on introduction. Was it "E.J. Time" or did he know his time was almost up? The challengers were up for facing a 3x champ as E.J. trailed after the J! round.

E.J. worked his way to lead by DD2 on clue 17 then dropped to second after the miss. E.J. gained the lead once again after rebounding the next clue yet Josh took the lead once again soon after.

A little bit of Twitter-fu turned up the Boots & Clyde that E.J. mentioned:

The PATINKIN category had me looking for Ragtime and it was not there although I was happy to collect the trash for recalling his medical show.

The FJ! clue had me struggling just to have anything with 9 letters. I wrote rainforest, counted, and cussed. Before time was out I wrote Everglade to have something. Josh and Debbie managed 9 letters as well.

The correct response is one I can't say for sure I go with even with multiple guess. Not gonna happen in 30 seconds with no help.

Debbie leaves with $1000 while she could have had more money and the title of J! champ. Josh thanks her very much.

Wow. I came up with the correct answer, but I can almost guarantee I would not have gotten it on the show. Did anybody else find the clue to be oddly worded?

What was the correct response? Even after a couple minutes thinking, I have no idea.

Yeah, wow, geography is my best category but I never in a million years would have gotten that one. It makes sense in hindsight, but I wouldn't have known how to connect the dots.

That Africa reference was the distractor that cost me too many precious seconds...

I came up with it. I'm glad they specified the number of letters; otherwise, I would have said Oceania.

$13,000 out of $13,000 is big in my book.

I took too long to realize they were not looking for something in or around Africa too, and by the time I got to the general region all I could spit out in time with the right amount of letters was Indonesia, which I realized made no sense.

Pissed at myself that I couldn't come up with this FJ, but it looks like others struggled as well.

Not a Shore's Conjecture game, either, unless I'm misreading the flowchart (EJ didn't have Debbie locked out).
Oh, what has science wrought? I sought only to turn a man into a metal-encased juggernaut of destruction powered by the unknown properties of a mysterious living crystal. How could this have all gone wrong?

North Pole was the best thing I was able to come up with, large area without much land. I wasn't that confident, but I couldn't think of anything else that sorta' fit while also having nine letters.

Took 2 seconds to recognize that 10M sq. miles with so little dry land had to be lots of water + tiny islands, 2 seconds to reject Caribbean as too small...then another 20 seconds to get my brain to stop saying 10-letter 'Micronesia' and come up with Polynesia. Stupid brain.

Back to the regular shows. The wagering hasn't gotten any better, but the contestants don't have the excuse of youth.

My brain was irretrievably stuck on Oceania, even though the number of letters was wrong. (Upon sober consideration, Oceania also includes Australia, so the amount of land was wrong, too.)
Stupid brain.
Teems with quiet fun.

Focused too much on "Africa" and ended up with Serengeti. Ugh.

ToC bubble players are safe for at least a few more days.

0/5 in Danes. Didn't know Bering Sea was named for a person. Ulrich was the only other name I recognized.

Can't say I've heard of "Boer" or "Magnificent Seven" either.

I found the DJ! round extremely tough overall. Action Movies and Queens I had down as 0/5 before any clues were revealed.

I couldn't make sense of the clue and somehow thought they wanted something almost ENTIRELY made up of dry land. Tried brainstorming deserts but couldn't hit on any 9 letter ones. Even when Alex explained the clue I had nothing. This will likely be a low scorer.
