Nobel week begins with Medicine providing the top row clue...

https://gizmodo.com/2019-nobel-prize-in ... 1838843344
A trio of researchers from the U.S. and the UK has won the 2019 Nobel Prize in Medicine, the first of five prizes to be announced this week. On Monday in Sweden, the Nobel committee announced that Americans William Kaelin Jr. and Gregg Semenza, along with Peter Ratcliffe, would split the nearly million-dollar prize for their work in unraveling a fundamental aspect of life: how our cells keep track of and respond to fluctuating oxygen levels.
Asking for anything other than oxygen about this, I think, would make it harder than TOC.
The best thing that Neil Armstrong ever did, was to let us all imagine we were him.
Latest movies (1-10): Everything Everywhere All at Once (10), Ruby Gillman: Teenage Kraken (6), Black Sunday /1960/ (6), Marcel the Shell with Shoes On (7)

I can see them clueing for a response of hypoxia, too, as a higher valued clue.

Time to change a flash card:
Saturn now has more moons than Jupiter (again? I feel like this is an again moment).

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-49962134
A team discovered a haul of 20 new moons orbiting the ringed planet, bringing its total to 82; Jupiter, by contrast, has 79 natural satellites.

The moons were discovered using the Subaru telescope on Maunakea, Hawaii.

To expand on that...
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-49960497
With others, [James Peebles] predicted the existence of cosmic microwave background (CMB) radiation, the so-called afterglow of the Big Bang. [ed. Discovery of the CMB resulted in its own Nobels for Arno Penzias and Robert Wilson in 1978]
...
The 84-year-old cosmologist, who is now based at Princeton University in New Jersey, US, also made major contributions to the theory of dark matter and dark energy, the mysterious components which together make up some 95% of the Universe.

In addition, he helped develop the theoretical framework of structure formation - which describes how galaxies and other large structures emerged from earlier density fluctuations in the Universe.
Michel Mayor and Didier Queloz were awarded the prize for finding 51 Pegasi b, a gas giant orbiting a star 50 light-years away.
It was the first exoplanet discovered around a main-sequence star - ones that fuses hydrogen atoms to form helium atoms in their core. These are the most numerous kind of star in the Universe, and include our own Sun. [ed. the first confirmed exoplanets were discovered around a pulsar]

He wanted to win the prize sooner, but as long as he's still alive, it's good enough.

A veritable who's who, wait, who's that won the Lit prizes:

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-49976107
Polish author Olga Tokarczuk, who also won the Man Booker International Prize last year, was awarded the 2018 Nobel Prize and Austria's Peter Handke won this year's.
But [Handke] is an outspoken figure whose comments have proved offensive. He once denied the Serbian massacre at Srebenica and compared Serbia's fate to that of Jews during the Holocaust - although he later apologised for that "slip of the tongue".

In 1999 he returned Germany's prestigious Buechner prize in protest at Nato's bombing of Belgrade, and was forced to reject another German prize - the Heinrich Heine award - after an outcry in 2006.
Tokarczuk, 57, considered the leading Polish novelist of her generation, was rewarded "for a narrative imagination that with encyclopaedic passion represents the crossing of boundaries as a form of life".

She is also a political activist who does not shy away from criticising Poland's right-wing government.
The best thing that Neil Armstrong ever did, was to let us all imagine we were him.
