The Citadel sheeps, but the Chunnel goes unused and the Ford Bronco is a singleton. I guess I should not be surprised at any TD result, but goodness...

Next TD, I'm just going to use a random number generator for the answers I know, because clearly I'm not out leveling anyone here.
Now swimming in the J! pool.

I might get my dog into the act. Set out a doggie treat for each response, see which one he goes for.1stlvlthinker wrote: ↑Wed Nov 06, 2019 10:18 amNext TD, I'm just going to use a random number generator for the answers I know, because clearly I'm not out leveling anyone here.

I had a feeling that Citadel would either be a singleton or sheep.
I'd rather cuddle then have sex. If you're into grammar, you'll understand.

Yes, exactly! I also assumed it was limited to the written word. Can I get a do-over?twelvefootboy wrote: ↑Tue Nov 05, 2019 9:23 pm I had no idea the Mark Twain Prize was targeted for comedians and stage performers. He was a writer, and it's called "humor", so it has to be for authors, right? So, I chose to make a WAG between Dave Barry and David Sedaris? Oh, well. Gimme the Sheep +5 .

I wonder if we should change the name of this game from 'Think Different' to 'Confirmation Bias'.

7. Fantasy hockey - Our second foray into fantasy was actually for the NHL. Name a school with multiple NCAA titles in men's hockey. (That means one-time winners such as Bowling Green, Harvard, Northern Michigan, Providence, Union and Yale do not count.)

Clearly I should have gone with the homer pick of North Dakota on the hockey question, considering I’m an alum. But noooo, I decided fewer people would think of little old Lake Superior State.

Maine was an educated guess. I dated a girl who graduated from there and who was really into their hockey program. I didn't know if they ever actually won it all.

3 others with lake superior state? wtf??? knew i should have gone with michigan tech...i know it has been said in the past that people on here generally know more sports than the average jeopardy person, but ncaa hockey? i am dumbfounded...i figured to have seen a bunch of the big names in other sports followed by the boston schools and a bunch of wrong answers, but not some school like lake superior state

Re: TD 433 - LLL (Final results)
Thanks, clt013! I always enjoy your TDs. I also like the fact that during the reveal, you display the correct responses in one place.
I'm surprised that I came in 5th because I think I got 3 sheeps, although a couple may have been co-sheeps.

I'd rather cuddle then have sex. If you're into grammar, you'll understand.
