Should've known better with the Trolley Song and I switched Andersonville to Gulag before submitting. Grrrrrrrr....
Looking forward to the rest of the reveal!

Oh, I knew that! That's why I brought it up . But I time warped my childhood into the '40's with that Joe G comment. I thought Mendoza dated from the late 60's when I was reading Dal Maxville and Bob Uecker's stats at the bottom of the hitting list, but the expression came up in the '70's. I remember Yaz hitting .301 as the only AL player out of the 2's in 1968 - the Year of the Pitcher! I probably put his rookie baseball card in my bike wheel, lol..Peachbox wrote: ↑Wed Nov 13, 2019 11:40 pmOr maybe Peachbox is the baseball junkie.twelvefootboy wrote: ↑Wed Nov 13, 2019 8:07 pmThis ASL is actually inspired by the Mendoza Line. Thanks for hosting - I actually almost managed to pull off the "you win my TD, I win yours" double over these last two quizzes.

A clutch singleton with Secretariat kept me at 20 pts, exactly 50%! I usually have a wrong answer someplace, so this was a very user friendly game, and I didn't have to use a drop or sheep (I grow my own sheep).CasketRomance wrote: ↑Fri Nov 15, 2019 4:40 am good job, twlevefootboy...you were way below the all sheep line

Jalapeno Hannah is alliterative, Jalapeno Juanita is not.CasketRomance wrote: ↑Fri Nov 15, 2019 4:38 am so they went alliterative with the all of the names of the pierogies except for 1? any idea why jalapeno hannah instead of say jalaepno juanita? a phonetic thing?

Thanks for a fun game!
I don't believe gwallace2 has won a TD game before.

I'm more disturbed by the switch in nomenclature order for the onion one.econgator wrote: ↑Fri Nov 15, 2019 11:25 amJalapeno Hannah is alliterative, Jalapeno Juanita is not.CasketRomance wrote: ↑Fri Nov 15, 2019 4:38 am so they went alliterative with the all of the names of the pierogies except for 1? any idea why jalapeno hannah instead of say jalaepno juanita? a phonetic thing?
