95 Theses
Blank on Tuesday.
Lohengrin

Fight song lyrics are not my thing, for no guess, although I have heard the oldie "Tiger Rag."

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer started as....OK then.
My love of sports does not extend to college football, and while I can name teams and whatnot, fight song lyrics ain't happening.

No response; from the category name, I was trying to think of a fictional place.

My Monday response was "Martin Luther's theses."

Oh, what has science wrought? I sought only to turn a man into a metal-encased juggernaut of destruction powered by the unknown properties of a mysterious living crystal. How could this have all gone wrong?

Mon - Luther's 95 Theses
Tue - Nada, but I was leaning towards 30 Rock, like a writer's room or something. Placed the quote on the wrong end of the century...
Wed - Nada
Fri - France, thinking the "movie star" bit was meant to be funny.
The best thing that Neil Armstrong ever did, was to let us all imagine we were him.
Latest movies (1-10): Everything Everywhere All at Once (10), Ruby Gillman: Teenage Kraken (6), Black Sunday /1960/ (6), Marcel the Shell with Shoes On (7)

I was a 5 away from an FJ sweep...if I'd known just Luther and Theses and no number were required..
I've certainly heard "hold that tiger" as a musical phrase but I didn't know where it came from.

As far as I knew, the Clemson fight song went: "Dun dun dun dun... dun dun dun dun.... dun dun dun dun... dun dun dun dun... C, L, E, M, S, O.....N!"

My dad and brother started precalling historic lists after the category reveal, and the 95 Theses were probably the first named. I think I would have gotten it right anyway. I was on my way to figuring out 12 when my dad got it, but I'm giving myself that one. And I had "hold that tiger" but clammed. Nobody's fault but mine on that one, hence not an eight- week.

Bad week. No instagets, a couple of No Freaking Clues, and Wednesday was the only one where I had confidence in my answer. Almost said Austria on Friday.

Did not know the backstory for Rudolph, and never associated it with a retailer. "Hold that tiger" seemed a little familiar after the reveal, but only a little.
I'm not the defending Jeopardy! champion. But I have played one on TV.

I did have "the 95 theses" on Monday. "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" for the holiday song.

The Clemson clue was way, way undervalued.

Then you should have it marked wrong, not right.

Have you noticed what key is immediately to the left of the "9" on a keyboard? :)

Said Tiffany's on Tuesday (Breakfast at Tiffany's), said 12 Days of Christmas on Thursday, thinking that was what sounded the most like a children's book. Said Austria on Friday.
