Myron Floren...

Welk was the only on (and-a-zero-more) that I got.

I did also get Lawrence Welk. How many other famous people are from North Dakota? Roger Maris?

Roger Maris is from Hibbing, Minnesota. Bob Dylan is from the same town.

Roger Maris is from Hibbing, Minnesota.
He spent much of his early years in Fargo, though, so maybe that's what he was thinking about.

His museum (such as it is) is in a mall in Fargo. I think North Dakota claims him as one of their own.

I used to see Maris Distribution trucks driving Bud around when I was going to UF. Took me a year or two to find out that he was the owner (and later his sons).

Yes on: Iago, Aspen, Maxwell, Welk

No on everything else.

I associate Arcadia with Canada, Longfellow & Evangeline, and Louisiana. But Greece?

After watching the tournament, I think I know about more how TPH feels daily.
I'm not the defending Jeopardy! champion. But I have played one on TV.

I can't tell if your Arcadia comment is a joke, so apologies if it is and you know this, but: you're thinking of Acadia.

Nope, wasn't a joke and it was indeed Acadia I was thinking of -- thanks for the correction. Makes me even gladder I wasn't in front of a bunch of people for that one!

I have a friend who grew up in Fargo and he's proudly told me about how Maris is a local, so that basically is what I had in mind.
