40-45... 4 clams and one of those was a very frustrating mind fart.

That definitely felt easier than normal. I'm generally around 32 every year and feel like I easily passed that. Although I'll have to wait to review the questions and answers to know for sure.

I “would have” scored 41 on yesterday’s test. My gut feeling about my actual score on tonight’s test...37??

My ass hurts from the beating it just took.

But I'm quite sure everybody else here will claim to score in the high 40's.

Got 36, at the higher end of my usual range. Thought of 3 right after time expired: Kondo, Aslan, Mulan(!!). Waffled for a moment on whether numismatics is coins or stamps; made the right choice.

Thanks for the quick scoring. 47 for real, after 47 for practice yesterday.
Spoiler
Missed:
Peele (ugh, knew this one)
couldn't type out philippines in time after hemming and hawing with Indonesia. "phili" probably won't cut it
Aniston (said Jolie)
[edit to correct missing philippines]

34 by my first count, which is frustrating, though at least I'll have "passed" if
Spoiler
Clean & Clear could somehow be shoehorned into the "cold cream" clue; I need to reread the clue.
Otherwise, just a large collection of misreads and brainfarts that tanked my score completely.

Depending on the test, I'm either high 30s or low 30s, usually. Of course, I did yesterday's by the video and hit 38. Today's I thought was so much harder. In just about every equivalent category, I thought today's was tougher. In geography, yesterday I got Libya, but today, missed the Norway one. Yesterday, easily got BFG, "newspeak," astrophysics book, Russian author. Definitely missed some author questions today. There were a few I'm not sure if I got in in time, but overall, I'm not super hopeful.

Edit: Actually, I am somewhere in the high 30s. It went worst in my head, because I had trouble in the beginning, but I came on strong in the end. Got some lucky guesses along the way, too.

I'd imagine so, 'saga' being in quotes

Edit: 44

Baltic was my frustrating clam; timer seemed to go fast but it still took too long to shake Balkan out

Odd, I don't remember the Wyeth clue at all...

And apparently I didn't hit edit, I hit quote. I WANT A MULLIGAN ON THE LAST 10 DAYS OF MY LIFE!!

Did worse this time since it was the test I was taking for real, but got a 35. Yay!
Spoiler
4. Couldn't come up with anything so wrote "tea tax"
6. Originally wrote "Baltic" but then switched to "North" instead.
7. Had no clue, guessed Beatrice
14. Totally blanked on this one. Said "Asoth" which sounds more of a Dungeon and Dragons monster.
18. Also blanked on this one even though I could "hear" the lyric in my head. Said "july 4th"
22. Wrote Mattel
25. Said "perestroika"
27. Wrote "the bridge" and didn't realize he was saying "the BREACH"
31. No idea, wrote "clown"
36. Couldn't figure it out so wrote "pterodactyl" even though I knew it was wrong
37. Panicked even though I've used cold cream in theatre before haha. Wrote "Blush begone" and have just trademarked it
43. Said "biome" but realized that "habitat" might be a better answer as time elapsed
45. Said "Wordsworth" should have been a gimme if I ever remembered who wrote that poem
46. I knew there was a Pavlov for "Finnish composer" but said "Debussy" instead
47. Said "Homo" as in "homo sapiens" because I was trying to think if there was a more scientific name for "primates". I always overcomplicate the science questions haha (Signed, a biologist)

I think I got 42. If memory serves, I've gotten either 42 or 43 on every online test I've ever taken for real, which is at least six so far. It would be nice if I could get better with age, but at least I'm not getting significantly stupider.

Edit: 36! I believe that's my best ever, and totally choked under the pressure on a handful I should have gotten (Kondo, Conrad, Hasbro, Coins, Sheba, Boeing 747). Only a few I know I had absolute no chance on in any situation (Bergen, Wyeth, the breach).

Somewhere between 37 and 39, depending on whether I fixed my my typo from "perestroikla" to "perestroika" in time (pretty sure I did, but it was close) and whether they give me credit for "breach" instead of "the breach."

EDIT: I also typed "747 Boeing." Seems like that should count, but who knows.
