TD 439 - Buffalo (final results)

Post by Ironhorse »

Welcome to TD 439. The theme is the word and city name "Buffalo".

Rules/Notes
1) Lowest point total wins; your score for each question is equal to the total number of players submitting that same answer
2) You may use one drop and take zero points for one question
3) You may elect to take the sheep answer for one question
4) Wrong responses are the "sheep" answer +3
5) There will be a 5 point bonus for answering questions 1-10 correctly and not using a sheep or drop.
6) Question 9 is "letter preferred" - there will be a 3 point deduction for not including a letter. Answers that include the wrong letter will be scored as incorrect.
7) Don't cheat.
8) Answers will be due on Tuesday, February 4 at 2:30 PM Eastern Time.
9) Submit at https://forms.gle/k3dPeBVU1Jw6MvQk7

Thanks to everyone for playing. I was happy to get 34 players given that I decided to throw it together at the last minute without scheduling it early and posting it on a Tuesday evening.

On a personal note, this TD has the fewest drops of any I've hosted so far, which was my goal. This has been a function of me incentivizing not dropping with a bonus and trying to have at least one answer anybody should know per question. Please let me know how you feel about this - if I've made it too easy, or if I've struck a good balance.

Naturally, I got that right - a rare event for me on a question that played pretty hard. Naturally, I mixed up Bryant and Bryan here and that cost me a wrong answer.
