LaKedra's debut airing today. The contestant and master mind in the bonus round had me doubting myself more than once as they gave wrong answers that had me questioning my right answers before the reveal. JBoard players will get a chuckle out of the car question that closed the show.
I wonder how many new episodes they haven't aired yet?
My understanding is the season taped early Feb. to completion of 65 episodes/13 weeks. Five weeks and a day have aired through 5/11 for 26 eps. aired with 39 to go to make 8 weeks less yesterday remaining. That would make the show go through July 3 if I'm counting correctly on the calendar.
Thanks for the addition. Line added. While watching the show I had told myself to check the archive since the first name was unusual enough to perhaps find a hit while by the end of the episode I has already forgotten to do it.
So far this season it seems like the contestants don't have much of a chance if Ken is standing at the end. Of course a contestant has little chance to win only getting one right no matter they face.
it will be fun to look back on this episode some day and fondly reminisce about the time when people on television game shows displayed their uncovered faces.

Masked-er Minds.
(Not gonna lie, Ryan, I kind of picture you as the banana, even though the llama is objectively the better fit.)

I'm wondering how often, if ever, the MMs recognize former J! players/champs.
Since I'm posting relatively soon after it aired, all in spoilers.
Spoiler
Damn. Way to go getting on, but sorry it didn't work out better for you. I could see you struggling on the buzzer in the timed round. Plus it would have been tough luck going up against Ken anyway. But holy cow, he misses a simple geography question?!?! Ken, shame! In fact, I would have beaten him 4-2 in that round if I had been able to face him. How would you have done? It's a shame you didn't walk out with a nice check.
So, some general questions since we really haven't heard too much about the process on here. How did you audition? Do they pay expenses at all (not likely)? Do the runners-up get any compensation? Is it in LA? Do the Master Minds get a financial incentive for winning? How did they treat you during the taping? Are you kept sequestered from the MM's? I'd really like to see a good write-up like a lot of people do for their Jeopardy appearances.
