Microsoft WebTV in 2001
On some of the celebrity episodes that recently aired, at the start of the show the bottom corner of the screen said "Microsoft WebTV Interactive program". What was this, and did anyone ever actually use it for "Jeopardy!" ?

Like millions of other Americans, Tim Tainter likes to play along with the contestants on "Jeopardy," the syndicated game show. Unlike most viewers, however, he uses his Microsoft WebTV remote control to click on multiple-choice answers that appear on his screen along with the live telecast.

Seems like it was used during Seasons 16 and 17. I remember the program on my family’s computer around 2001 with that crummy Windows ME operating system. It was also on Windows 98. It was a way you could watch television on your computer but it required a TV tuner card which was expensive and my family computer never had it. Although I remember using it to get an on screen television guide.
