Have not heard of Thomas Rhett or Kelsea Ballerini. Not sure if I've heard of Old Dominion. Mrs. Penguin got that one solely off the Virginia nickname angle.

Also never heard of Rhett, Ballerini, or Old Dominion (as a band. I know it's the nickname of VA, which was my in).

Would've gotten Old Dominion if it was a DD

Needed the video for Underwood.
Have heard the name Thomas Rhett only.
No video needed for Marvin Chuck Berry
Only got Old Dominion the state nickname way
Blurted Maren Morris to take a respectable $3200 down to $1200. Have seen Ballerini on numerous TV things. Like Hammer and blonde actresses, sometimes the country singers blend together for me.

It's easy. Kelsea Barbiedollerini is the 27-year-old who acts like a horny 15-year-old and spends all her songs slobbering over boys. Think of her as version 2.0 of Carly Rae Jepsen.

Maren Morris is the one who used an actually decent country-pop album to trojan horse her way into the genre with some of the blandest fluff you'll ever hear.

I accidentally left the Chuck Berry clue unchecked and I can't change my vote.

*400: Easy once the video came up. Wasn't quite sure with just the clue, and NHO "The Fighter", and country + Idol could probably go to a couple of people - Kelly Clarkson was the other that came to mind, but I knew it was Carrie.

800: Didn't buzz in. If it had been a DD, I probably would have gone with "Rhett", and probably would hit Thomas if BMSed. As it was, I didn't have the courage to ring in, and I thought a little bit too hard - Akins came close to Adkins, which made me head to Trace Adkins.

*1200: Easy, especially since it was discussed here yesterday.

1600: Could be anything.

2000: NHO, how am I supposed to know every New Female Vocalist of the Year from 2000 on?

I got 1600, which isn't bad since my only exposure to country is through Idol, The Voice, and commercials.

I just now made the mistake of looking for a video of this Kelsea Ballerini person... My ears are bleeding.

So far as the clues go, I only got the Johnny B. Goode one. Probably should have gotten Old Dominion, even though, like many others on here, I'd never heard of the group. Shoulda pulled if on the Virginia nickname and guessed it.

Got Underwood and knew Old Dominion from the Virginia hint. (There is also a college by that name). Stupidly said Jerry Lee Lewis instead of Berry. Never heard of the other two.

I did the same thing. Got through about 15 seconds before clicking out of there.

Chuck Berry saved me from being skunked -- I at least had the presence of mind not to say Chuck Barry out loud.

I used to do well at country music categories, but I only got Underwood and Bærry. I've heard of Kelsea Ballerini, but had no chance on that clue. Never heard of Thomas Rhett (Rhett Akins, yes) or Old Dominion.

He still loves country music
But he's been left out in the dark
'Cause they don't play Merle and George no more
He don't know Billy Ray from Garth...

Easy peasy for me since country is a lot of what I listen to. Not particularly a fan of Thomas Rhett, but I love his father. His best known hit from back in the day is probably "That Ain't My Truck," but my favorite is "Kiss My Country Ass."
