Well, that's also a correct response... wonder how it would have been judged on the show.

Re: Tuesday, March 30, 2021 Game Recap and Discussion (SPOILERS)
Extended credits alert. And that was after Dr. Oz had time to talk about the charity when the game was over.
Bryce was 3/3 on DDs for +$14K, so no surprise he had a lock. Bryce could have bet $8599, so $6000, while not the max, sure beats a boring $0.
The FJ! clue had me out in left field and right field. I wrote PT Barnum in blanking on anyone else in the "performing" field in the 1800s. I knew the math did not work out as Barnum was not young enough.
My next place for trying to find some kind of hint in the clue was Philadelphia. Recalling W.C. Fields's suggested epitaph had me shaking my head as that made no sense even if the math possibly worked out better.
It was right there in the clue about harming a president. Bryce and Amanda were able to connect the dots and I could not. Clearly a problem between my ears in not being able to properly process and handle gettable FJ! clues this week.
Bryce upped his game standing at the champ's spot. Finding 5/6 DDs and some with early depth charges has me wondering if he studied a heat chart. I noticed on the The Jeopardy! Fan that Bryce's chances of winning again increased greatly from 46%+ to 72%+. Third wins have been tough to come by win lately, so we'll see how it plays out tomorrow.

Last name only by Bryce and Amanda had John Wilkes Booth. The clue's wording does not pin a brother (Asia is out though), so when did pops make the threat and when was Edwin born? When was Junior born?Philliesfan02 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 30, 2021 1:43 pmWell, that's also a correct response... wonder how it would have been judged on the show.

Ready to get ultra nitpicky?Philliesfan02 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 30, 2021 1:43 pmWell, that's also a correct response... wonder how it would have been judged on the show.
The letter was sent in 1835. Edwin was born in 1833, and John Wilkes was born in 1838. So at the time of the letter, he was a current father of Edwin and a future father of John.

And for anyone who's curious, Prescott Bush wasn't even born until 1895.

Accurate is the best kind of accurate, so I will have to say Edwin Booth is not right. Though gosh they could’ve done something else to pin that question a little better.mas3cf wrote: ↑Tue Mar 30, 2021 1:57 pmReady to get ultra nitpicky?Philliesfan02 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 30, 2021 1:43 pmWell, that's also a correct response... wonder how it would have been judged on the show.

It's done: https://www.j-archive.com/showgame.php?game_id=6984
Fewer player errors and hardly any media clues. Nice.

I wrote down Edwin Booth but crossed out Edwin at the last second out of concern over “future”. I wouldn’t have dared try that if I am on the show unless I am betting zero and just wanted to be funny.

Bryce's 2 wins and $68,600 places him at 365th on the all-time Jeopardy! leaderboard. I will be updating every time a tournament winner is declared, or when someone wins over $50,000.
sup, i'm bliss.

im Guessing "Pre Kindergarden" would have been too specific for "Kindergarden"?
i was thing Presidents, not people who killed presidents.
Dr Oz is gonna earn more money for his Charity than Katie, which im not 100% thrilled about.

Just wow to Jean not even guessing to prevent a lock game, then throwing away a grand unnecessarily on top of that.
