Apparently they had a last minute hosting change that only got revealed this morning. Someone managed to leak the episode, too. Hurry up and watch it here before Sony takes it down!

The show fooled me as it did have some tricks up its sleeve today.

The J! round had an APRIL FOOL! category and I'm not retyping the name of that FJ! category.

The joke was on me as I had no idea for the FJ! clue and wrote "Parliament" to have something. I've seen the category word before and my memory makes me think it goes back to 5th grade or so for some kind of spelling show off point of knowledge. What I have no recollection of is learning what it actually meant.

Emily once again won the J! round. 31 clues later and she was leaving with $1000 more in winnings.

The J! round ended with Scott at zero and Dr. Oz gave him $800 more before the DJ! round began to account for poor pinning on a disaster clue that led to a double get and a neg negated.

The FJ! clue left me at 0/4 for the week, so I can only hope the writers have something fun tomorrow to help me escape a skunk week. The players this week are 2+2+0+0 to have me thinking perhaps a 1 or a 3 is coming to close out Mehmet's time on the show.

The FJ! category makes the home page and the FJ! round itself look really strange in being so big: https://www.j-archive.com/showgame.php?game_id=6986

On the website's clue of the day, they have the category name split into three words, and it took reading the full clue a couple times to figure out what the heck an "antidis establishment arian" is.

0/5 on Broadway Musicals; not one of my strong categories but still surprising to be shut completely out. On a better day I at least manage the German translation and get Spring Awakening.
Oh, what has science wrought? I sought only to turn a man into a metal-encased juggernaut of destruction powered by the unknown properties of a mysterious living crystal. How could this have all gone wrong?

I translated it to "Spring Awakening" but NHO that, so I held my fire because I was afraid it would be "Waking in the Spring" or even something more random.

well at least we had an April Fools Category - That's More than what i was Expecting. and too a lesser extent, FJ.

IMO The Overlap Category was so Bad. the Puns were terrible.

Why did i write down Bars for Final?

So "The Anglican Church" would have counted? That was the first thing that came to mind for me.

As many times as I've heard the word "antidisestablishmentarianism", I never bothered to look up what it actually means. Just yet another example of me only "half knowing" things.

Nope. The Church in Wales split from the Church of England. Both are Anglican churches.

LOL, just LOL at the James River emptying into the St. Lawrence.

Big Ben is a bell. The name of the tower is the Elizabeth Tower.

Scott got into position to win not because of brilliant trivia knowledge but because he got a silly gimme DD about 101 Dalmatians .

But it's not wrong. If "church" counts, certainly "Anglican church" should count, no?
