If you aren't familiar with the sordid tale of Matt Lauer I suggest you use Google. I don't think anyone needs it repeated here.
(imagines there having had been more than one being named "Matt Lauer")
I've got to admit I don't have a clue what you're talking about or why you keep posting everything in parentheses...

He imagines hosting so much it's a memory. When it comes there are the contestants, ten feet ahead of he.

That's common on the other side of the pond, I think. (I learned this from Life, the Universe, and Everything wherein Ford Prefect decided he was a lemon and spent a few weeks jumping in and out of a lake that thought it was a gin and tonic.) But a gin that labels itself "American" should probably be paired with lime.

Hmmmm. I don't know who the new Green Bay QB will be. But I'm pretty sure Ken's not even under consideration.

The bigger faux pas is using a G&T to sell a gin. "Why yes, you can stomach this if you drown it in quinine!"
(So, sorry Burton, the Peloton spinoff ad is still better)

So maybe the ad should involve him going to mix a martini, pulling out a bottle of other-brand gin, finding he's out of vermouth, switching to Aviation gin and smiling?

It's reported that Aaron Rodgers doesn't want to return to the Green Bay Packers, and Jeopardy figures into the equation.

Sorry Aaron, but J! isn't going to let you play football and host at the same time. Imagine if you get injured again while playing, J! would have to search for another host while you are recuperating.

that would all depend on taping schedule. the show could always change the schedule if he would be host.
