That was pretty tolerable. And quite the surprise ending.

Better than I expected. FJ surprised me that Andy missed it and that the other two both made the huge bet they needed to in that situation.

Instaget FJ for me. The boards definitely seemed simpler than normal.

Got a chuckle from Cal Tech being in a clue with a Big Bang Theory alum as host. Quick turnaround on the QEII category.

Despite (because of?) the comedy, the pacing was deadly. But I did appreciate the reversal. Surprised Andy Richter didn't get that basic trivia clue...I should have done better on the Funny People category, but I drew blanks...
I doubt I'll watch again.

They are back to $100-$500. Triple Jeopardy! isn't even as much as regular Double Jeopardy! Boo hiss.

Andy Richter lost. Boo hiss.

For the first time, I got more than 60 clues correct. :o

Those were some podcast lies about celeb material being equal to regular play.

I do not get usually get 54/60 in regular play and 24/30 in TJ! went past my expectation as well.

The unexpected outcome was a surprise while the possibility for it was present throughout the game. Andy missed his chance to use his previous J! experience much more to his advantage.

I matched Simu for the FJ! clue as I should in being a regular J! viewer.

Playing along and keeping a running tally of my score was an exercise in quick math with the TJ! round values so different than what I am used to over many years.

I watched and will keep watching, but as econgator posted previously in another thread: there are a lot of TV Sunday watching options.

Archiving the celeb games is a no thank you from me, but I went ahead and did theFJGuy post.

Mayim wasn't kidding when she remarked to Simu that tweets were important in their industry (to which he quickly agreed). Simu famously tweeted himself into a superhero all the way back in 2014.

Anyone who saw the new old games from week 2 of the Trebek era should've gotten the "blue point" cat clue right. My entry was just a tad late for Andy Richter, though.

Although I was disappointed in the "challengers"' DD wagers, I was pleased that neither of them gave up and that they kept in it through the end of FJ!

The dollar amount total of the three rounds is equal to that in a regular game in the doubled era so Coryats are comparable. I don't keep track but I am certain I did better than a regular game outside of the pop culture categories.

Nice job re-programming the archive and getting the game in.

Ego talks about her biology degree then bets $1500 out of her $7000 on the last DD about the skeleton? The LA Food Bank probably wishes Andy had bet more on his DD. Simu bets just $300 instead of $500 on the first DD was sad as well.

I guess karma slapped Andy for bailing on the MDCI.

Andy is the only one of the three I had heard of prior to this. And I'm proud of that.

In the archive, I noticed this game was listed under both Season 39 and Celebrity primetime. It doesn’t need to be under Season 39.

Thanks, fixed. This was sort of a major change to the Archive that affected (or will affect, once I get around to it) just about every script, even scripts I wasn't expecting it to affect. So there are going to be lots of weird little bugs that I will squash over the next couple of weeks as this whole Triple Jeopardy! thing shakes out.

It could have been a lot worse. If they ever change the game board geometry, I'm crying.

The score box below the TJ board is off center. Not a major problem, figured it was one of those weird things that resulted out of the extra round.

I'm still trying to figure that out. According to Chrome developer mode on a desktop, which can emulate a mobile device, it's fixed, but I can clearly see it still has problems on my phone on Chrome. I don't know whether it's just a stylesheet caching issue or something more than that.

I don't know how to do a hard refresh on a mobile device.

Simu’s win came out of nowhere. Triple J! was a good idea.

I'm with you on that. I was pleasantly surprised by the relative lack of fluff in the game. I don't mind a little more banter than the average game in celebrity matches. I like to let the celebs shine (and whine) a bit. But I was concerned that the hour runtime might be filled by mini-documentaries about the celebs or their charitable predilections in a way that could have come off as self-serving. It wasn't that. It was just good old-fashioned Jeopardy! entertainment. Easier than usual, yes, but not preposterously so.
