Isaac said that his dad lost on J!

Who was that comedian that was asked in the first cash builder. Mabs Mayberry, something like that?
Moms Mabley.

Like many on here, I was also surprised at how much time Buzzy took pondering... Was he throwing the game, or was he just afraid of pushbacks, or was he thinking the 14 steps gave him a lot of time?

Or maybe he was just stunned by his own "Stunnerness"...

Well, he said his sister won over $200,000 and was in the ToC hosted by Buzzy, so there were only two possibilities, and I didn't think he bore any resemblance to Jennifer Quail.

I had a funny moment during the first cash builder: the question was (paraphrased) "Oleg Popov, who performed with the Moscow circus, was a famous what?" I said bear. The answer was clown.

If I ever make it to the show, I hope my chaser has a Final Chase like that one.

So I am curious--is this the first time we have seen Buzzy as the chaser?

I said to my wife at the start of the show that if I ever get on I hope to face Buzzy. Nothing about this game changed my mind.

Yeah, it looked like a slight off night for Victoria. Still one of the best Chase episodes I've seen -- high drama!

Did Shane Cunningham stick with the $60,000 or get tempted into the $260,000?

Funnily enough, at my pub trivia this week, I explained to my grandparents that there are two famous Duomos, the one in Milan and the one in Florence, also known as the Santa Maria del Fiore. The next day, Santa Maria del Fiore is asked on The Chase and much to my surprise, Victoria didn't know it. :o

I was shocked at that. I figured that, spotted Florence and "famous cathedral," she'd come up with Il Duomo even without knowing its official name.

Two of tonight's contestants are former Jeopardy players who came a correct FJ response away from winning what ended up being their only games: Julissa Castillo and Chuck Narikiyo. (The other player is Katherine Swartz.)

I get to have something of a doubleheader today/tomorrow because I was out last Thursday and my device didn't record, so I'll be watching that show once it attains its week-delayed availability on abc.com.

Player pages updated.

My moment of pride was knowing the slivovitz fruit that stumped chaser and player. The lounge was sure animated over each player decision in the H2H round.

Someone may have to get Buzzy his own show after his displays, the jumping-up-and-down dance for the second player and the on-his-back-kicking his feet-in-the-air for the third.

Did not expect Brad to miss Baby Hair, Barney, or Slivovitz.

All three players went for the high offer. All caught. I believe there was one episode in the UK version where 3/4 players went for the high offer.

Never seen Buzzy that excited before.
