No guess, unfamiliar with the name "Lake Poets."

Have been to Arlington and seen the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
Knew it was Hunger Games; think that connection's come up on FJ before.
Oh, what has science wrought? I sought only to turn a man into a metal-encased juggernaut of destruction powered by the unknown properties of a mysterious living crystal. How could this have all gone wrong?

I guessed Lake District for the Graveyard Q in LL, but didn't guess them here for some reason.
Have been to Arlington and watched a changing of the guard.
Have been to Wright-Patt, which has what is my favorite aviation museum.

I guessed archery from Geena Davis. My other thought was baseball, but 105%?

Friday, I thought I'd logicked it out but I'm now pretty sure I've seen "Nixon Resigns" numerous times over the years, just because.
I'm smart and I want respect.

Wed - Baseball (thinking Twilight, which made Geena Davis a reference to League of their Own)
Thu - Iran but low confidence
Fri - 'Nixon Pardoned'

Have seen the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier

Got Archery mostly from Geena Davis, made the connection to The Hunger Games.

Tuesday, had "Lake Writers" instead of "Lake Poets."
Wednesday, knew baseball was incorrect but didn't remember Geena Davis's connection to archery.

Was near the end of the USAF Aeromedical Nursing course to become a Flight Medic in August of '74. We watched Nixon's resignation speech, and then shrugged and resumed studying for an end-of-week test the next day. After watching all of the various elements of the Watergate scandal unfold for two years, the resignation seemed pretty much inevitable and almost an anticlimax.

Econgater mentioned the USAF Museum at Wright-Pat. I can second the appreciation of the museum. It's been hard to pry me out of the place the times we've visited. I'd hate to have to pick between Wright-Pat and the Smithsonian Air & Space.

Would've been fun to have that as a response to see how the judges handled it. They might've been favorable. I think I'd give the thumbs up. "Lakes School" or "Lakes School Writers" would almost definitely get you the nod.

I think "Lake District Writers" MIGHT have had a shot, since that shows up in a search for "lake writers." It includes prose authors like Beatrix Potter and John Ruskin, along with the poets. But "Lake Writers" by itself I think would probably be negged. I didn't count it as correct on the poll.

I would prefer not to.
