Going to give this a go .... four of five in each category is about right for me with the regular topics. Yay?

2. MOSES
4. Sec. of the Treasury
6. Solicitor General
8.
10. FBI

3.
6. piano
9. camus
12. scorsese (?)

edit: Or, y'know, not. In retrospect, NOAA should have been more obvious.

2. NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Adminisration, I think)

8. clam. I'm thinking something like the Post Exchange Service, but I'm sure it has a fancier name.

10. Counterrorism (formerly acronymned as S/CT, office of the secretary of state/counterterrorism. Except it might have counternarcotics thrown in. (Note: I see I've portmanteau's it: Counterterrorism of course.)

It is so funny that DadofTwins used a "1997: the year in music" category. Back when I was in sixth grade and all of those songs were popular I was a big fan of all of them. I watched VH1's "Top Ten Countdown" religiously. This was also around the time I started watching Jeopardy! regularly, and I kid you not: I used to tell my sister all the time that I wanted to see a category called "The 1997 Billboard Charts." Thanks, DadofTwins, for that category!

Question #15 from Day 3 is really badly worded - You Were Meant for Me is an entirely different song from Foolish Games, not a remix. They're both found on the CD Pieces of You.

So OK, how many of you (a) recognize the song, (b) get the joke, and/or (c) know I've got the lyrics wrong? A real mondegreen for me.

Maybe I should post this in the TOC thread.

(a) and (c) but not sure about (b). Is there more to the humor than the pun involved?
