Had 10 blanks so that's 40 already. Half the blanks were total brain farts, i.e. knowing but not dredging up in time (Jonathan Swift, Perry Ellis Island come to mind immediately).
A few too many guesses on the 40 I did answer, and I'll be incredibly lucky to hit the alleged cut-off this time.

Ditto... I didn't count my blanks (didn't want to waste any brain energy) but I'm in roughly the same boat. Felt pretty good about most that I did answer though.Paucle wrote:Had 10 blanks so that's 40 already. That didn't seem as bad as prior years - I'll be able to judge better when the transcript came up.
Kicking myself on Perry Ellis Island - I knew his first name began with a P, just put Paul to have something...Other than that, it was mostly I either knew it or didn't.

The whole reason I ran out of time typing penguin was that I originally had pidgeon before changing my answer with ~2 seconds left.Woppy T wrote:I hope they accept my answer of "seagull" for penguin.CrunchyTaco wrote:I hope they accept my partial answer of "pengui" for penguin.

I didn't get Green Eggs and Ham because I found the question to be very convoluted (whatever it was) in the middle of the test and amid the time pressure. I'm sure that whatever I wound up with, it will be close to the cutoff like it always is. Thanks to Woof for Enders Game in the study guide.
I used to be AWSOP but wanted to be more theatrical.

Yikes. That was rough. I'm kicking myself for at least a couple of obvious blunders. The aforementioned "Sam I Am" instead of "Green Eggs and Ham". "Atlanta" instead of "Georgia". Uggh.
