Information known through archivist research and best guesses:
Peter Lalos, fundraiser from San Francisco, California
Diane Stone, a sales manager original from New York City
Brad Marshall, an illustrator originally from Miami, Florida (1-day cash winnings of $17,500)
Peter wins with $10,600.
No ads, but from GSN rerun anyway.
Player memory is game was taped September 1984
At chat Alex says a retired champ left a couple of weeks ago with $55,000
December 1984 up to February 1985 is the guess range for when it aired.
An article from the Miami Herald from October 1984 talking about Brad's run pinned this one down to 1984-10-26. Brad Marshall was a 2-day champion going in. And now it's in the Archive: https://j-archive.com/showgame.php?game_id=7526
Nice to get a game in from the Dark Ages, when the show was on after midnight in NYC and KCBS in LA would rather air Quincy reruns.

Player pics of Claudia Perry and Chris Wilde who played Tim McCoy: Spoiler
Robert: There is a lot of busy work surrounding getting this first CP game into the archive to link her various appearances and also sis playing. I'm sure I missed something, so please check my work. For the photo tag I added a "1996" since she did not return for regular play until 1997.
My 1996 scoresheet indicates I got the FJ! clue right back then as well to once again pump a solve percentage on a triple identical miss up to 25%.
The rabbit hole from the last bump led me here. Confederate should be capitalized in DJ17.

DJ5, pretty sure Cabinet should be capitalized.
Done even though it seems like something I have never done previously without the specific dept. named. I wonder how many other such lower case examples there are? Hope the obsessive correction suggestion person doesn't see this post.

Along the same line of thinking, should you capitalize the offices mentioned in DJ2? Not taking a position either way, just asking.

You generally don't capitalize titles when used in lieu of a name.

Is that the rule?
See, I would tend to capitalize a title when used in lieu of a name but not otherwise.
"The President today said that..." (referring to a specific person, the title of the office substituting for "Joe Biden" or whoever)
"The Constitution contains the oath taken by the president..." (referring to no person in particular)
Yes, there are still gaps between what was already in the archive and what is available through TuneIn, so no 10/8/90 at this time.
Both the correct woman and incorrect woman are still alive as of this posting. Alex is usually pretty good about naming an incorrect response, so perhaps Pete wrote nothing or "Who is"?
