I was not sure how to do the TV THEMES category with no words and music only. No $500 for me as I only recall the leather catsuit. ;)

Robert & Andy: DD1 played at J28 and Steve was correct. Before revealing the FJ! clue Alex took the $500 wagered away because the head judge heard someone in the audience give the response. I unclicked it a being a DD and it became a TS as I did not know how to make the numbers be correct otherwise.

One of those FJ! clues you gotta be on early or good luck finishing in time.

Should TV Themes for $400 be My Three Sons?

In that case we need a little more of a note on that clue to indicate that it was a Daily Double and that Steve responded correctly. I will take care of it, but feel free to check it over. Correction suggestion submitted.

Unfortunately, the way the prefinal score correction (as used to give money to zero- or negative-scoring celebrities) is coded, only positive dollar amounts can be inserted, so that system can't be used to neg Steve the $500, although that might be a little more elegant in a case like this.

Done, thanks. Who knows what I'll run into doing a S2 game later today.

Should it not be handled like DD1 in this game? https://www.j-archive.com/showgame.php?game_id=6115

There's still an "undone" DD from 2008 that hasn't gotten this treatment, instead being given the value of the player's wager, with his last correct response augmented by the wager amount to undo the DD neg (which screws up his Coryat score as a result): https://j-archive.com/showgame.php?game_id=2747

[edit: it's fixed now, good work!]

Has J! ever referenced Land of the Giants or Time Tunnel in any way, shape, or form?

Time Tunnel, yes. Land of the Giants, apparently not.

Lack of phrasing on DJ7 treated as no biggie.

Jon did the double 00 underline, but the tap makes it bigger than it appeared as Lou had it even like someone does writing a check.

Lou wrote an 8 and then right on top of it wrote a better 8, so the <del> tag is not quite accurate for how it appeared.

Funny coincidence to have another TV Themes category today.

At chat Debra mentioned working on Dynasty and Irreconcilable Differences and IMDb shows DuVal for those credits, but the site indicates Debra was Duval or Du Val on other projects.

Alex seemed to clearly say Arlow at chat for Jon and Mr. Gilbert's intro mostly sounded like that and I did not get a sense it was Harlow. Hard to look for a Jon Harlow if that was it because of the famous Jack. Arlow or Arlo or some kind of French-ification was hard to certify with a generic job and common NYC.

11W for James. S1 lack of discipline, but he made up for it with the laugh in the FJ! round.

Sheryl’s obituary from last year. A commenter mentions her Jeopardy appearance.

Closing quote marks missing on DJ17.

Fixed, thanks. My plan is to do a S1 audio tomorrow, so lots of chances to catch stuff I miss.

We welcome Shakey's Pizza to the J-Canon as a response. And J!12 is an interesting bit of history about it.

From a TuneIn recording here is 10/30/84: https://j-archive.com/showgame.php?game_id=7758

John Noble (not the famous one), Mary Landra and Peter Lalos.

Considering it was October 1984 that was a pretty good game with "only" six clues not seen and "only" 12W.

If you though the HSRT F2 FJ! clue was easy, then this one is even easier.

I did the best I could to get that chatty Alex stuff archived, wordwise. Punctuation-wise? Well...

I submitted corrections already, but you omitted the R from "Smurfs" in J2, and the second U doesn't belong in the response for DJ15.

The Social Security Death Index lists a Jonathan B. Arlow who died in Brooklyn in 1993 (born in 1952), for what it's worth. I can't find anything else about him to definitively connect him to the contestant, but I take it as an indication you're right about the spelling. (I also thought of "Arlough," but that seems to only be used by people with "R. Lo____" names giving themselves the "J-Lo" treatment and humorously overspelling it.)
