The best thing that Neil Armstrong ever did, was to let us all imagine we were him.

With that rousing assessment I was really expecting the video to be a lot less uninteresting.
I had a dream that I was asleep and then I woke up and Jeopardy! was on.

This feels like a John Oliver list where at the end he goes "And if you think we made some of those up, you're wrong, we made ALL of them up"MarkBarrett wrote: ↑Wed Nov 16, 2022 10:31 am Grammy nominations for Best New Artist:

Also, my LL pop music batting average is .358, so that's probably related

(I just copied and pasted this headline from Twitter. I have no idea who this person is, or what they do. But thanks to that easy-to-remember last name, if it shows up in LearnedLeague in a couple of months, I'll get it. Or hate myself for forgetting it, one of the 2.)
I stumbled across this after I had submitted while looking for something else. Even if I hadn't submitted yet I'd have had to leave it blank because I forgot his name (and why he is "famous") two seconds after reading it back in June.

(I got as close as "Sale", knowing it was a 4-letter English word with that vowel pattern. "Male" was also breifly considered.)

I don't get the mindset of bragging about not knowing things, especially in a trivia community purportedly devoted to acquiring knowledge that isn't necessarily of importance. I got 2 points in LL on the Khaby Lame question while everyone else was whining about his unimportance.

We'd seen a couple of touring productions, but when we found ourselves in NYC last month we took advantage of the opportunity to see it on Broadway. The show was good; the orchestra was breathtaking and amazing and outstanding and many other superlatives.davey wrote: ↑Wed Nov 30, 2022 8:22 pmSomewhat predictably, Phantom of the Opera will not close because just announcing its closing caused broken records at the box office. We'll see if it really does close in April...teapot37 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 17, 2022 8:16 am The Phantom of the Opera has announced it will close its Broadway run in February of next year. Having opened on Broadway in January 1988, its 35 years and nearly 14000 performances are both Broadway records (the next longest run, of the 1996 revival of Chicago, has been going since November 1996 for about 10000 performances).

The article said it would not be extended again as the Majestic is closing for renovations. They are badly needed; it's pretty shabby. Threadbare carpet, scuffed and dingy walls, cracked tiles in the bathrooms, leaky and loose fixtures. Lots of work needed.
I'm not the defending Jeopardy! champion. But I have played one on TV.

"Goblin mode" is new on me, as well as appearing to be two words.
I'm smart and I want respect.

Stephen King tweeted today that he just learned the phrase "going goblin" but will now use it as often as possible.

I hear the Russians will also receive a third-round draft pick and a play to be named later.
