Not sure what this is referring to, guessing you made a typo and meant

CMU for Carnegie Mellon?
On a related note, I wonder did you consider spoiler-tagging discussion of specific clues and responses in these (FJ? or otherwise)? Or maybe a blanket warning at the top of the post that clues from last week's shows will be mentioned below?
Yeah, I had the wrong college abbreviation and some warnings and spoiler tags make sense since not everyone is always current with watching eps. of J!. Thank you.

New episode was released yesterday:
- Sarah confirmed that the judges saw Emmett Stanton write every character of "Emancipation Proclamation" during his second game.
- Martha Bath's response of No Country for Old Men was determined to be correct, as viewers thought she had said No Country for Old Man.
- Sarah's pre-recorded interview with Martha Bath was played. Her first FJ! category during her run on Fleming J! was State Capitals and the clue asked which state and its capital both had five letters in their names.
Spoiler
Boise, Idaho and she had just moved from Idaho to Connecticut and still didn't get that Final right.
- For Celebrity J!, the show wants to have video categories on their celebrities, starting with Buzzy Cohen's fashion category on the first episode.
- Buzzy Cohen's fashion category was the first TJ! category to be written.
- Johnny Gilbert, Jean Trebek, Tony Griffin, Sam Kavanaugh, and all 2022 ToC players were at the J! Honors ceremony (which the show tweeted would air on YouTube on Thursday at 6:00 PM Pacific).
- Lilly Nelson (@OneEclecticMom on Twitter) was the fashion expert for J! Honors and a pre-recorded interview with her was played. She then was interviewed on the podcast.
- Jeopardy! Honors Winners:
Spoiler
Best Dressed: Yungsheng Wang
Best Signature: Cindy Zhang
Best Celebration: Rhone Talsma after defeating Amy Schneider
Sportsmanship Award: James Weldon, for donating Jeopardy! attire to Matt Amodio, who defeated him.
MVP (Most Valuable Player): Amy Schneider

Thanks for the recap, gameshowfandanny, and well done getting the key points in your post. Next Monday, or any Monday, feel free to do it again as I can't do it within any consistent time frame.

With, MNF, MLB and The Voice I only had time to listen to 10 minutes of the podcast last night as I checked for it around four and then forget about checking again until almost bedtime.

I'll add that Yungsheng Wang was mentioned as ToC alternate.
James Holzhauer's cause is Project 150

Fan questions:
Jake - Any more Fleming games? Nope, and Martha has nothing like even a photo from 1972 appearance

David - Host take questions with studio audience back? Ken, does it although not in break before FJ! round. Sarah got to know all of Alex's answers and is learning the ones that Ken gives to repeated questions.

Is Buzzy on some kind of contract or retainer with the show? I know he’s local as that was explained why he was pinch-hitting on one of the early podcast episodes. And now they’ve got him doing at least one Celeb J! category.

I can see him doing more of those, slotting into the role that was originally outlined for Ken before Alex died. But I don’t think I heard anything announced.

10/4 "Road to the ToC with Jaskaran Sing, Maureen O'Neil, Tyler Rhode and Jonathan Fisher"

On Spotify it's listed as 10/4 and I don't know if it appeared yesterday on the 3rd or not?

Sarah, Michael and Buzzy quickly mentioned J! being at #50 on Rolling Stone list of greatest TV shows.

For Isaac not in SCT it was circumstances beyond their control and Isaac's control with the hope of bringing him back at some other time.

Last week's games were recapped and
Spoiler
David Sibley stood out as strong in rehearsals and he is not the David Sibley associated with bird watching. David's collar is nickname dog collar as opposed to tab.

4 wins does not guarantee ToC spot, but with year to year it's more likely.
Michael emphasized that if a bonus is activated for running a category it will not affect game scores.

The hosts mentioned not just DD hunting but which categories to look for them as a future topic.

Contestant Emily nicknamed "Grandma" and Buzzy said to ask her for Werther's Originals. :)

Michael promoted upcoming book,
Spoiler

Spoiler
Pam
mentioned as candidate for next SCT.
Spoiler
Cris's
$221 wager was in honor of GF's birthday.

14:50 Sarah talks to
Spoiler
David
and staff/contestants were wonderful.
Spoiler
David will tithe and try to work in J! for future sermon.
The 10/2 ep. of Celeb J! was loose and fun and the staff loved it. Austin Rodgers was unknown to celebs and Simu from last week said studio was cold.

20:40 - Sarah talks to Jaskaran and he still doing school in combination with brushing up on stuff for ToC.
22:40 - Sarah talks to Maureen - she got text that she would be coming back for ToC as her spot was uncertain. Maureen calls Margaret "Regular Virginia" Shelton the "Iron Lady".
25:30 Sarah talks to Tyler who enjoyed all the contestant runs after his run
28:30 Sarah talks to Jonathan of the Matt/Jessica match and he gets recognized in public

Fan question from Andrew about Andy Richter winning QF in 2010 and not able to return - J! rule is must be available to compete or forfeit although such decisions are case by case basis and serving in military (Joey Beachum) was one such one

Fan Joe asked about quick turn around from QEII's death and the category on Celeb J!

Next week: Games of 10/3 week, Celeb J! and 4 more ToCers

10/10 "Road to the ToC with Margaret Shelton, Christine Whelchel, Brian Chang, and Sam Buttrey" (29:31)

Michael and Sarah with no Buzzy

Julann wrote thank you letter about being grateful for HoF honors and first time acknowledged for her part with creation of J!

Jenny from 10//3 is contender for best signature award.

Sarah talk to
Spoiler
Cris after fifth win at 6:30 into the podcast. Cris played (is playing) the way he wanted and poker experience helped with wagering decisions.
8 celeb eps. have been taped and each episode is different and they noted last week was the comical one although polarizing to viewers.

13:00 mark talk to ToCers with all chats before ToC began.
Christine - did not expect to qualify and is a year past chemo - part of girl power with her, Margaret and Maureen playing in succession

Margaret - has bought new jewels and will buy more with ToC money - gets noticed as "Regular Virginia" lady and talk of Alex smiling down on ToCers and Sarah knows Alex would have loved Margaret

Brian - Sarah did not know he was RA when Andrew He was in college - does not want to face Andrew and considers Andrew the favorite to win the ToC. The pressure is off being "just" a 7x champ and playfully wants revenge against Zach. Brian has had the most time to prepare.

Sam - in touch with other professors from his tourney. He had heard Steve Martin comparisons before tourney, but now even more with wider viewing audience. Sam liked the Wildcard format, but is fine with playing to win outright now.

ToC chats end at 24:00 of time.

Question from Kyle about Austin Rogers and the celeb category. Yes, writers write all the clues for guest readers, but Austin did have a chance to see the material ahead of time

Bridget or Brigette - wanted to know how about holiday clues/categories. Days are random from 6 boards for 5 days, but if category is specific to one particular day then that one category is dropped into the relevant game to match the wanted date.

It's been a whirlwind for the staff with regular play, Celebs, SCT and ToC and then keeping in mind where they are for what has aired when doing the podcast.

Next week - same format

10/17/22 "Road to the ToC with Jackie Kelly, Andrew He, Courtney Shah and Zack Newkirk" (40:13)
Note: Zach's first name is misspelled on the podcast's title.

Sarah & Buzzy talk again about costumes, the contest and such. Sarah's daughters want Sarah to dress as Toy Story character.

Mike from 10/11 game did video montage honoring Ken back in 2004.

Mike is:
Spoiler
strong candidate for next SCC (Second Chance Competition)
Sarah talk to Idina Menzel at 8:30 and was surprised to learn she has appeared 9 times in clues - Sarah got to tell her daughters she met Elsa. Idina plugs her new kids' book.
10:10 Idina sings J! theme

J! considers 10 wins a superchamp while Buzzy jokes about it being beating his 9 wins.

Category runs will only be acknowledged if five in a row and not 5 out of 10 clues or such.

Sarah talks at 14:35 to:
Spoiler
Cris who jokes about needing a second mattress to keep his money under. Sarah notices Cris likes left side of board and 4 clues down to look for DDs.
17:25 chatter about celeb semis
Buzzy met
Spoiler
Ike at Celebrity Millionaire and knows Ike does Learned League
Everyone loved the Johnny Gilbert category on the 10/16 celeb semi. Sarah worked with Johnny to make sure he put the right intensity into the
Spoiler
Pulp Fiction
clue.

Sarah talks at 21:00 to
Spoiler
Ike
ToC player chats start at 23:20
Jackie was never sure she would get in ToC and appreciated support online from those who wanted her to make it. Jackie misses the safety net of no wildcards though likes the Finals will take 3 game wins. Her track background helps for training for J!

Andrew at 25:30 Will not forget FJ! clue he missed to lose to Amy and is aware of his "dark horse" status

Courtney at 28:00 broke the curse of no long-running champs and never imagine what was to follow last season (loved all the women champs) as she was on top with 7 wins for a time. She mentioned the word "intimidated" but has had time to prepare (and panic) since her job is study-related in always learning new things. Courtney has done online trivia and pub trivia.

Zach was on in July 2020 and Brian Chang was 4x when he returned to studio after long pandemic break. Saw Brian win 5, 6, 7. Zach was won at all three podia. Zach only ToCer to have played with both Alex & Ken hosting.

34:15 question from Doug about SCC metrics - combination of deep dives into stats and social media recognition
Next year more of the same, though not definite that SCC will return while Sarah hopes it does

Question from Steven about timing of less than a minute left in the round. Unplayed clues will be recycled if at all possible. Not precise time for each round and warning given if it looks like a round cannot be edited to time. 7.5 to 8 minutes for DJ! round and about 10 for J! round.

Next week: More ToCers and Michael Harris called "The Enabler"

10/24/22 "Road to the ToC with Megan Wachspress, Eric Ahasic, John Focht, and Ryan Long" (47:04)

Sarah, Buzzy and Michael "The Enabler" Harris host. Michael has to be very alert to enable signaling devices and can't lose his concentration.

SCC #1 J! round was even with 10 buzzes apiece. Jessica and her game against Matt & Jonathan was inspiration for Second Chance.

6:15 Sarah talks to Michael Strahan after acknowledging there were fan comments about the category being a commercial. Michael loved having Ken Jennings on Pyramid and Ken was great. People at the show were very excited that Ken was there. Michael has fond memories of visiting Alex at his house and how kind Alex & Jean were to him for interview.

More SCC talk and some of #2 was like a tennis match with the back and forth and Sarah mentioned Erica's "new woker glasses".

Buzzy loves the term "Two-Day Total Point Affair".

For SCC #3 Sarah and Buzzy said the wager that
Spoiler
Pam
made should have been more or been less.

Sarah and Buzzy noticed that in SCC #4 that
Spoiler
none of the players wore glasses.
In SCC #5 the hosts got a kick out of the
Spoiler
pivotal DD miss by James being in the BLEW IT category and James lost his composure after that miss.
The possibility of a
Spoiler
3-way rematch in the ToC with Matt, Jessica and Jonathan is still possible.
23:50 talk about Celebrity J!
Spoiler
Fun game, fun people with big wagers and how the material favored the older Michael a bit at times while mentioning that Aisha did have the most correct clues overall.
26:35 ToC player talks (these were done prior to the ToC games) with Eric first. He got to appear on the Weather Channel and AccuWeather. He and Megan had least time to prepare for ToC. During original run Eric found that buzzer timing came and went.

30:00 Megan benefitted from more home time during pandemic and allowed her (and others) the opportunity to take the Anytime Test. Being around other ToCers was like mixing with celebrities. Megan gave $25,000 to Homeless Action Center serving the Oakland & Berkeley area.

33:00 John's first audition was by Zoom in April or May 2020. He had a long time to not be sure if he would make ToC or not and did a lot of analytics working about J! stuff while overall finding too may factors involved in it. Recognizes he will have to go for it in ToC.

36:45 Ryan got Liberty Bell (kind of like key to the city) from Philly mayor and Sly Stallone has one also. Ryan is most successful player coming into the QF round with the three above him on byes. Ryan has been able to improve his life and his son coming along was the kid's first plane trip.

Question from Victor about studio warm-up with live audience back. Jimmy does it along with hosting rehearsal games (and stage manager duties).

Thomas wanted to know about player travel arrangements and notification window. Contestants pay their way unless returning champ then show pays. Contestants usually get about a month's notice before tape date and Los Angeles area locals are alternates. Buzzy was an alternate the first time he was at the studio.

Next week: 5 more ToCers, Celeb J! and week 2 of the SCC.

10/31/22 "Road to the ToC with Amy Schneider, Matt Amodio, Mattea Roach, Rowan Ward & Jessica Stephens"

Michael Davies, Sarah and Buzzy with Michael Harris "The Enabler" for one segment

Buzzy dressed as Mitch the sound guy for Halloween

Ken likes the beep-boop sound of filling in the dollar amounts on the board. It was taken away to save time for rounds. It could return but has not yet.

Beep-boop at 8:07 when Michael Harris comes on for SCC talk. SCC not a tournament because more than one winner.

SCC:
Spoiler
The hosts noted about Sadie writing the full name again.
Jack just got the lock in with big play on DDs and "meese" was funny.
Rowan was on fire and think they may have bet 10000 in hopes of getting 1st podium
Hosts liked the Daniel Radcliffe category and Sarah said Daniel said he does not sing "I Lost On Jeopardy" in "Weird" movie, but the song is heard on a radio in it.

Michael prefers first to three for ToC finals.

16:20 - Celeb J! - Ratings good enough that it is expected to return. Some celebs have expressed interest in playing again and that is fine with J! producers.

They noted what happened on the Patrick Stewart clue result.

19:15 begins Road to ToC and beep-boop plays again

19:30 - SCC 1 winner
Spoiler
Jessica was tempted to yell "Boo!" when she saw Jonathan and Matt, but only said, "Hi".
23:20 - SCC 2 winner
Spoiler
Rowan felt cool and prepared and studied buzzer technique as well as Ken's reading of clues. Rowan has "Recency" factor and they said they "are not a longshot" for ToC. Rowan studied wagering for 2-day total point affair and is fine with ToC being "Just win".
27:30 - Mattea likes money minimum up for getting bye to semis and wants to live up to being seeded - willing to make bigger wagers and know they need to be more aggressive and can't play top-down in categories as preferred

Mattea is kind of a Canada ambassador and likens it to being in Olympics in representing Canada. Mattea met Amy in Toronto and had coffee. Mattea has exchanged Twitter DMs with other ToCers and enjoyed meals with ToCers in L.A. while learning competitors jobs, kids, etc.

31:30 - Matt - surprised how quickly his 38 wins was eclipsed - like the bye into semis for one less round to play and likes GOAT style finals to win 3 games.

Matt knows first hand
Spoiler
about SCC winners since he played both winners during his run
Matt is kind of a minor celeb but can still go out in public and has enjoyed connecting with old friends and family.

34:55 - Amy - there is pressure with being a big threat in the ToC and representing trans community. Genevieve will be in the audience. Amy likes that appearing on J! has helped some with getting used to proper pronoun usage.

Hosts note how super super the seeded players are and so wonderful.

A short ad played for betterhelp.com when I listened on Spotify.

41:00 - Rob Worman question about triple beep when time's up for responding to clue. Alex used to have button to control timing and that shocked All-Stars when they found out when Alex Jacob asked about exact timing.

Duty removed from hosts when guest hosts took over and now assoc. director Chloe Corwin does it from control room counting backwards.

John asks about facts Ken & Mayim use for chats. Players fill out 4-5 pages plus 5 fun facts. Producers narrow it down.

Buzzy remembers trying to do quick changes between games and asked for more items.

Next week - First 5 ToC QF games.

Their answer subtly indicated that the above (used to be an Alex judgement call, now it's done from the control room) applies to the triple-stumper situation AND to the daily-double-no-response scenario. Which makes sense. I was pretty sure it used to be Alex, but didn't know what the current setup is...

11/7/22 "What are the ToC Quarterfinals?" (33:40)

Sarah and Buzzy with Michael Harris for ToC discussion

Claudine Lewis won Deadly Double costume contest for pic of KJ autographed by Buzzy - costume was Johnny Gilbert in satin jacket reading rap lyrics

Courtney Shah did a Margaret Shelton costume. A Mikey dressed like Cindy Zhang and Cindy dressed as Eddie Huang.

Buzzy's wife and kid dressed as Buzzy and even though Buzzy is room parent, other teachers did not know he had been on J!

A fan did a cross stitch of the ToCers:

ToC QF talk at 5:25 with Beep Boop
Spoiler
QF1 - Maureen surprised to win, but she had already been good in FJ! round. Ryan will be in Philly Thanksgiving parade. He did not have "eye of the tiger" in J! game

QF2 - Michael calls it "The Come From Behind Game" Andrew played strategic wager and Buzzy comments on the VWLLSS HWN category.

QF3 - Brian was the "social director" for the ToC players and Michael calls it "The Game of Ties" with Tyler and Margaret even so often. Buzzy loves hearing Margaret say "Hot Lips Houlihan".

QF4 - Michael calls it "The Daily Double Runaway" - John did a lot of research and decided to bet big

QF5 - "The Daily Double Difference" Eric, Jaskaran and Jackie were well-matched and they took a long time to make FJ! round wagers. Eric's DD move was like Roger Craig quadrupling his score.
21:10 ad until 22:30
Buzzy talk about going from ToC host to coffee intern and will share staff coffee orders next week.

23:30 11/6 celeb game:
Spoiler
serious tone and players were focused as each celeb game had a different tone.
Like Joel, Buzzy also know Louis Virtel who is both funny and intense

Sarah worked with Johnny for lyrics category and Johnny had to be assured those were actual song lyrics from No. 1 songs.
Many celebs said no to playing, so credit for that said yes and made money for charity.

Buzzy attended taping of Melissa in new Night Court show. Same lot where Call Me Kat tapes

27:30 Beep Boop for questions.

Andrew wants to know about possible board value increases such as 300-1500 & 600-3000. Sarah is more conservative and less-inclined to do it and has to reel in some of Michael D.'s ideas.

Jason wonders about a Clue Crew tribute and Sarah names the previous Clue Crew members. Nothing is planned as of now, but Sarah likes the idea. She had heard from staff members around the time she began about having to go through buckets with 1000s of VHS tapes.

Next Week: QF #6, the Big 3 exhibition with the seeded players and Celeb J! Semifinal 2

11/14/22 "What Are The ToC Semifinals?" (38.42)

Sarah, Buzzy and Matt "The Enabler" Harris

Quarterfinal 6:
Spoiler
Michael calls it "Sam's Club But No Bargain" - Sam did do the floss after the game and Ken called him "wild and crazy"
There was a bonus podcast last week for what the show calls "The Great Exhibition". I have not listened to that one yet as I forgot about until the mention tonight.

Semifinal #1:
Spoiler
Michael calls it "The Amy-zing Runaway" - Tough DJ! round
Sarah talks to Amy at 8:35 - different Amy not playing first-timers and mixed feelings about being seeded though liked the extra $5K locked in. Amy's philosophy is "Get the next clue right"
Semifinal #2:
Spoiler
"It was Professor Buttrey in the Studio with the Buzzer" - host call it the semifinal of death
Matt's zero wager explained all will likely get FJ! right or all will miss it. It was mentioned that Sam is undefeated on the Alex Trebek Stage.
Sam at 15:15 - swing bat and hit a home run on big DD wager - the finals will be harder material and faster players
Semifinal #3:
Spoiler
"All in for the Win" +16800 highest DD of S39 and Andrew had highest DD in S38.
Sarah worked with Mandy Patinkin for his category and asked about swords which he had to work into a clue. Sarah loves The Princess Bride since she was a kid

Mattea:
Spoiler
did not find any DDs and that could have made a different. Even if they had not been seeded and played QF round the semis still would have been there. It was obvious Mattea not winning was a tough one for Sarah and Buzzy.
SF 3 Winner at 22:30:
Spoiler
Andrew wanted another chance against Amy.
25:30 - Celebrity Jeopardy!:
Spoiler
Wil J! fan his whole life and in pop culture to give him an edge. Talk to Wil at 27:30 - Wil was a fan of Matt and enjoyed played when Matt's category came up. Wil has a better of understanding of fan reaction when they got to guest spot on Star Trek.
Some Celeb J! games will rerun before new shows air in January.

31:40 beep boop for fan questions - Matty asked about taping schedule. 6 QF games and the exhibition for 7 games in one day. The 3 SF games and first two Finals games were the next day. The third day was the conclusion of the Finals.

33:00 and 33:33 for un-bleeped swear word from Buzzy and then Sarah in discussing Ken's bleep during long taping day.

John asks about groupings for ToC. Producers want to avoid rematches from regular play in first round, avoid same names or similar names since it can confuse staff while working with a seeding system and also trying not to have players from same city. The semis were assigned the same way and trying only to have a potential rematch in the finals.

11/8/22 "What is the (Great) Exhibition Commentary with Amy Schneider, Matt Amodio & Mattea Roach" (33:31)

Amy was excited to play in a unique experience.
Mattea wanted to play against two of the best and practice.
Matt talked with his dad about pros & cons and this match preempted any potential complaining about being seeded

Sarah acknowledged that fans knew it was the 2nd anniversary of Alex's death and the show purposely did not mention it last year to honor Alex who would not have liked a fuss about it.

Things about the match itself:
Spoiler
Mattea got the Nickelback clue and feels pressure to get Canada things right.

Matt planned ahead for first response to be to greet Ken and was prepared to not give first correct response, but decided to do it since it was in a subject he likes.

The quips about age in the music category had Mattea sure she was indeed 4 while Amy was estimating about 27 when she did her comeback response. Amy never wanted in more on a clue than the "Lose Yourself" one and was tempted to give additional lyrics.

Matt does not listen to current music and 1995 is about the most current he hears.

They revisited the chat segment for Mattea getting teased for only have Canadian stories and Amy one-upping Matt's 1st pitch experiences against Amy visiting the White House.

The players enjoy the razzing by Ken and he knows they can take it.

The NUMBER, PLEASE category with the theme answers was the idea of Rocky S. and everyone got a good laugh out of Ken getting bleeped.

Matt said he got the theme of the responses with 74 for the meaning of that number while Mattea was too fixated on clues and Amy never remembers previous clue when playing.

They talked about Alex's breakfast of candy bars & soda and thought even Alex would not have known the name of his Woodruff tool. Mattea went for the laugh with "hemilunes" to make it three incorrect responses.

Matt had a passing familiarity with Middlemarch and said it's his mom's favorite book while Mattea did not about the book while knowing/thinking a DD would not be there. Going into the match Mattea feared getting trounced and was surprised how well the match was going.

Matt loved the WRONG BUT EXCELLENT category and recalled some of the unexpected responses from games.

Mattea ran POTPOURRI of all categories and Matt & Amy acknowledged how sometimes the buzzer timing is lost for stretches.

RHYMES WITH A SNOW WHITE DWARF had the players going in with varying levels of Snow White knowledge or being able to name the dwarfs.

Matt had planned to play the exhibition for buzzer timing and wanting to ring in on every non-DD clue, with bad guesses part of the deal.

For the FJ! category Matt knows most of the elements and tried to solve it with 2-vowel combinations.

Amy bet $64 as part of her wager for (wife) Genevieve's birthday of June 4 and compared the clue to being close to naming only country ending with "H" (her downfall in game #41).

Mattea last took science classes in high school and figured out europium and just had enough time for einsteinium.

The exhibition was taped the day before the semis and Amy,unlike, Matt, wanted to play it as a normal game.

All three players hope J! does it again for three big winners in next ToC cycle.

"What are the ToC Finalists?" 11/21/22 (33:23)

Sarah, Buzzy and Michael "the Enabler" Harris.

During the pandemic Sarah helped out with the auditioning process and in May 2020 she auditioned:
Spoiler
Sam Buttrey and Sarah remembers that he noticed they're both left-handed.
The ToC Finals are discussed:
Spoiler
F1: "A Daily Double Difference" - Buzzy & Sarah liked Ken's opening about a Boomer, a GenXer and a Millennial for describing the finalists. All 3 about 120 miles of each other for Nor Cal finals.

F2: "All Guts, But No Glory" - Sam's Soundcloud is plugged and sample at 8:15 of "Don't Put Your Cat Butt in My Face"

F3: "Third Time Around is Not the Charm" - Buzzy appreciated the choreography for the coordinated opening
The FJ! is discussed at 11:40 (Just reporting what was said)
Michael Harris is also head researcher and the staff reached out to seminarian for extra assistance on the clue as they always go extra mile on Bible clues. The show uses KJV and it has "Paul's Letter to the Hebrews".

F4: "Do or Die" - Amy's clue selection style is discussed and it's intentional that she likes to get videos clue and expected non-DD categories out of the way to throw off buzzer momentum from challengers.

F5: "Between a Rock and a Hard Place" - very load roar of applause from the audience for the winner of the game. Mention mostly in jest that households are being torn apart with one person rooting for one champ while another may be rooting for a different player.
Fan questions at 24:35
Josh Woo (J! alum Kids Week) asks about the endurance needed to play game at end of long day. Buzzy plugged hig Get Ready audio book about the physical and mental things to do to stay sharp.

Nathan asked about how tough it must be to select players for Second Chance with so many qualified players. Sarah said there will be another SCC as they are always looking for the best champs. Sarah also said there will be other competitions but did not name them.

Next week:
Spoiler
The conclusion of the ToC and the resumption of regular play.

I guess Sam and I have something in common; I frequently notice when someone is a lefty. I don't look for it, I just realize it when I see someone doing something lefty.

The most apposite quote on the controversy - from Sarah, emphatically - is
Spoiler
...there's only 1 New Testament epistle with the most Old Testament quotes and it is Hebrews. No hint of the source, unless the idea is that they...and the seminarian they "reached out to"...counted them up in their King James Bible themselves...(Maybe it's just me, but I'd probably ask a seminary professor, rather than a seminarian...)
Another amusing moment is when Buzzy says the clue is about Paul's letter to the Epistles...and no one bothers to correct him...
