Would have said Gilgamesh but Heardred felt too much like a Norse name.
Got synoptic.
9/10 on the season, missing Carnegie Mellon last week.
Oh, what has science wrought? I sought only to turn a man into a metal-encased juggernaut of destruction powered by the unknown properties of a mysterious living crystal. How could this have all gone wrong?

Mention of Massachusetts led me to 18th century and I went with Articles of Confederation.

Remembered a photo of a cranky looking Edison and went with it although I was pretty sure it was too early. Einstein would not have occurred to me.

Did not get the gospels

I'm happy to have a healthy enough interest in frog pop stars and Old English epics...Didn't key on the right words in the clue Mon.-Wed.
I was slow on Magellan's deathplace, should have gotten that one..."Synoptic" is a familiar word to me.
I'm only at 50% for the 2 weeks...Upward!

I had the Bill of Rights for the document. I was misled by the word "delay" in the clue, since I knew some people thought that something like the Bill of Rights should have been part of the original Constitution.
